Why I love EFT-Tapping

It is actually very simple; I love EFT-tapping because it has changed my life, from the inside out, and beyond recognition, in a way I am so grateful for. I am happier, more grounded in myself and have overcome so many fears and personal road blocks. It is a phenomenal tool which works wonders as self-care and is even better when shared with a professional.

What is EFT-Tapping?

It is a very simple technique which brings your emotional world together with your physical and energetic world. Through the act of gently tapping on areas of your upper body, face and hands, in combination with your own words, you access your fundamental self-understanding, innate personal power and release that which no longer serves you.

Making an appointment with me

Before we work together, I like to have a compatibility chat with you. This way we can make sure that what you want to work on is what I can help with, that we gel and think we can work together well. This essential chemistry is fundamental to the relationship and a great therapeutic outcome.

Symptom Sorter

Tackle an aggravating symptom or simple condition with this in-depth single session.

How it works:

  • 30 mins to discuss the concern and an introduction to EFT-Tapping

  • 90 mins EFT-Tapping session to root out your symptom

  • Included: 5-min tapalong video to use after the session

In our first chat, we can start to get to know each other and do a little bit of Introductory tapping together.

The second session is our deep-dive into the symptom which bothers you. We will explore the ‘underworld’ of the symptom in the imagery/sensations/colours connected to the symptom.

The EFT-Tapping technique we will use is called Imagineering and is a powerful tool which harnesses your subconscious or imagination to clear any underlying blocks, stuckness and fears associated with your symptom.

Client A had a random but significant digestive pain which would pop up from time-to-time with no apparent reason. We used Imagineering to vanquish it and it hasn’t reappeared since.

Client M had suffered years of trying and multiple failed medical interventions and had not become pregnant. We worked together using Imagineering and cleared the ‘murky depths’ of her womb. She fell pregnant naturally shortly after.

EFT-Tapping points

This video on my blog is a super quick intro to the tapping points. It’s also a great way for you to begin to experience how quickly EFT-Tapping takes you out of your overthinking head and into your body, bringing calm.

This is the basis of EFT-Tapping; a powerful tool for bringing the changes you desire. Dive right in and tap along with me to experience how good tapping makes you feel.

Tapping on the points is what we do together whilst saying the words you have shared with me about your feelings, your body sensations when you have those feelings and more. This deceptively simple process supports you in releasing emotional and physical blocks, allowing layers to peel back and bring our attention to layers underneath.

EFT-Tapping PAYG appointments

Maybe you have heard about EFT-Tapping, have done some online Tapalong audios and felt a difference and want to work with a professional to take things further?

I offer PAYG sessions for one-off trials or blocks to work on emotional, physical or spiritual support.

Appointment 1

This is where we explore what you want to get help with, set a goal for the session and begin the process of getting to know each other. We do plenty of tapping to dig into what you know is underneath the area you want to change.

All tapping for you is led by me. I tap with you, showing you the moves, giving you words to repeat and checking in with how you feel.

We are gently guided by your words, body sensations, colours, sounds, smells to access the place which is stuck and support it in releasing. We go gently at your pace.

Cost: £140 (90 mins)

PAYG follow-up appointments

Maybe you have come to the end of a package and have a ‘loose end’ you would like to tie up or you prefer to work adhoc. These PAYG sessions allow us to continue to explore your emotions, blocks and stuck places which prevent you feeling good in your life and moving forward in the way you want to.

We follow your pace, with whatever comes up. We tread lightly together through the paths of your unwinding knots with respect, care and comfort.

Cost: £90 (60 mins)

What it’s like to work with EFT-Tapping

When we begin to peel back the layers of our stories, like an onion, each layer beneath is slightly different to the one before. And, those layers may be different to those we expect. As you find your way into your layers, we may begin to explore areas which aren’t obviously related to the original intention and goal.

My particular skill is in weaving all of those layers into the work we are doing so that we address the core components of the issue presented.

One of the most wonderful things about EFT is that you don’t even need to tell me what the incident/issue is as we can work with the abstract and the body sensations it creates. In fact, it’s often better not to get enmeshed in the story of it at all.

After the sessions

Always drink plenty of water during and after each session. It really helps flush through the things processed.

When we process issues which have been present in your system for a while, you may find yourself feeling tired, relieved, uplifted or many other things after an appointment. If you can, it is advisable to give yourself a little space afterwards to allow things to settle.

Carry on tapping

To sustain the benefits, continuing to tap on your own in between sessions is really helpful. Your aim would be to give yourself the space of reduced stress and anxiety, calming your mind and body. You don’t need any fancy words, or grand intentions… you can tap wordlessly whilst watching TV or use positive phrases and tap in the shower! It’s a great way to begin and end your day with a calming boost.

“My favourite way to tap is in the bath. I love to lie in the hot water, and get focussed on whatever I want to tap about. I find the water deeply therapeutic and the addition of tapping makes for a glorious combination. Add candles, bath salts, essential oils, my journal and favourite pen and I’m in self-care heaven!”

My clinic

My clinic space is in my home. You may choose whether you wish to attend in person or have online appointments.

When you attend in person, we have the option of me tapping on you. This can really amplify the energy of the experience.

Accessibility

I have no waiting room and the toilet is upstairs. There are several steep stairs and a slope up to the front door. The parking is round the corner.

If you have mobility concerns, this may not be suitable for you and in that instance, I suggest making an online appointment.
